GRIEF, SUICIDE, AND ETHICS SEMINAR
December 1, 2010
Nashville, TN
Suicide is the most preventable form of death, yet it is the 2nd leading cause of death among youth and college students. Sudden losses are much more difficult for clients to handle, especially the loss of a close relationship. This seminar will provide “QPR” Suicide prevention training, discuss certain aspects of grief (healing, managing emotions, and resiliency), and conclude with an ethics component that will discuss advance care planning in palliative care and ethical decision making. The seminar is ideal for providers in health, mental health, hospice, and long-term care.
