The recent Jack. C. Massey Leadership Award dinner honoring Chancellor Nick Zeppos was a fantastic evening paying tribute to the great leadership of Chancellor Zeppos. Special remarks were given by Mrs. Martha Rivers Ingram and Dr. Jeff Balser, and a speacial musical performance was given by Vanderbilt student and NBC's "The Voice" finalist, Patrick Thomas.

The Award was established in 1986 by Mr. Jack C. Massey and the Mental Health Association of Middle Tennessee. The Award is given every other year and honors individuals whose leadership and accomplishments have enriched the quality of life for citizens of our nation.
The 2011 Event Chairs are Dr. Jeff Balser, Vanderbilt Vice Chancellor for Health Affairs and
Dean of the School of Medicine, and his wife, Melinda Balser. Mrs. Jack C. Massey is the honorary Event Chair.
